The nursing experience of using clinical pathway on the women received cesarean section

Objective To summarize the nursing experience of using clinical pathway on the women received cesarean section. Methods Experimental group was composed of 256 pregnant women received the clinical pathway nursing; control group were the other 261 cases received traditional nursing.Compared the hospital-stayed time, medical expense, satisfaction, and commandment of health knowledge between the 2 groups. Results The pregnant women in experimental group spent less time inhospital and got lower medical expense than the pregnant women in control group(P＜0.01). At the same time, they have had a higher satisfaction and better commandment of health knowledge(P＜0.05,P＜0.01). Conclusions Applying Clinical pathway nursing on the women received cesarean section can shorten the hospital-stayed time, lower medical expense, promote satisfaction, and make the patients have better commandment of health knowledge, but it still has many problems to solve in future.
