| Abstract: | Summary: An unusual case of phaeochromocytoma in pregnancy is reported. The patient had a history of recurrent hypertension and abruptio placentae with fetal death before the diagnosis was made. Another pregnancy complicated by 'toxaemia' followed excision of the tumour. General principles concerning diagnosis and management of phaeochromocytoma during pregnancy are discussed. |
