小儿手足口病并脑炎的MRI诊断

目的:探讨小儿手足口病并脑炎的MRI影像表现及诊断价值。方法:对52例经临床确诊的手足口病并脑炎患儿行MRI检查。分析手足口病并脑炎患儿脑内病灶的信号特征。结果:52例中有35例可见脑内异常表现,阳性率为67.3%(35/52)。病灶单发者6例,多发者29例;累及大脑灰质29例,丘脑6例,基底核8例,小脑1例,脑干3例。病灶T1WI为低信号21例,等信号14例;T2WI为高信号27例,等信号8例;FLAIR/T2WI为高信号29例,等信号6例;DWI为高信号31例,等信号4例。结论:MRI是小儿手足口病并脑炎的首选影像诊断手段,FLAIR/T2WI和DWI序列是该病的诊断及随访观察的主要扫描序列。

MRI diagnosis of hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) combined with encephalitis in children

Objective：To explore the features and the value of magnetic resonance imaging（MRI） in the diagnosis of children with hand-foot-mouth disease（HFMD） combined with encephalitis.Methods：52 children who were confirmed by clinical examinations as HFMD combined with encephalitis received MRI examination to analyze the characteristics of the signal.Results：35 cases in 52 showed positive.The nidus presented as single（6 cases） and multiple lesions（29 cases）. 29 cases involved gray matter,6 cases involved thalamus,8 cases involved basal ganglia,1 case involved cerebellum and 3 cases involved brainstem.The lesions carried positive signal in 21 cases in T1WI,27 cases in T2WI,29 cases in FLAIR/T2WI and 31 cases in DWI.Conclusion：MRI is the preferential choice for the diagnosis of HFMD combined with encephalitis.FLAIR/T2WI and DWI sequence are the main scan sequences.
