| Abstract: | We present a very rare case of combined cystic and solid acoustic neuroma investigated by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This case illustrates the value of MRI in the characterization of tumors in the posterior cranial fossa, particularly acoustic neuromas, and its diagnostic impact in unusual situations. The differential diagnosis of cystic and mixed lesions in the cerebellopontine angle is discussed.Offprint requests to: B. Duvoisin |
