替吉奥单药治疗老年转移性结直肠癌的临床观察

Clinical observation of S-1 in the treatment of old patients with metastatic colorectal carcinoma

Aim To examine the short-term efficacy and safety of S-1 in the treatment of old patients with metastatic colorectal carcinoma.Methods A total of 8 old patients were orally administered with S-1.The disease control rates and side effects of treatment were observed.Results Of the 8 old patients,partial remission（PR）was in two,stable disease（SD）was in five,and progression disease（PD） was in one.The main side effects included leukopenia,mostly of degree I.All the old 8 patients accomplished the treatment.Conclusion The regimen of S-1 achieved relatively satisfactory short-term efficacy in the treatment of old patients with metastatic colorectal carcinoma,and the adverse effects was relatively mild and tolerable.These resuts indicate that further clinical study is worthy.
