| Abstract: | This study of monozygotic and dizygotic Swedish twins raised together and apart focuses attention on the genetic contribution to body habitus. Although genetics clearly plays a role in the genesis of obesity, this study relied on body mass index and provides more support for the inheritance of frame size or fat-free mass than for the inheritance of obesity. |
