| Abstract: | Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis is now available in more than 20 countries with over 700 cycles completed and more than 100 normal babies born. A review of pre-implantation genetic diagnosis is presented in which the technology, types of diagnoses possible, problems to be surmounted, and ethical issues are discussed. |
