| Abstract: | We herein report an 83-year-old man who presented with a pleural tumor in the right thorax. The tumor was surgically resected and histopathologically diagnosed as ectopic primary pleural thymoma lacking any evidence of a mediastinal tumor. The clinicopathological aspects of this unusual thymoma are also discussed. |
