齿龈内阿米巴在口腔病患者中的观察

213例口腔科门诊病人调查结果,发现齿龈内阿米巴感染率为50.70％,其中以牙、根、冠周炎和口腔粘膜病四组最高,各为58.62％、66.67％、79.16％和57.14％。单纯龋齿组最低为25.75％。差异非常显著(P<0.005)。感染率与年龄、性别无密切关系。通过形态学观察,发现由前四组口腔病患者检出的齿龈内阿米巴,大多具有形态清晰、运动频繁、生活力强和个体普遍较大等特点。并对其致病性作了讨论。

OBSERVATION OF ENTAMOEBA GINGIVALIS IN PATIENTS WITH STOMATOPATHY

A survey of E. gingivalis infection conducted in 213 dental patients revealed an overall infection rate of 50.70%. The higher infection rates were found in the patients with periodontitis, parodontitis, pericoronitis and sto-matitides as 58.62%, 66.67%, 79.16% and 57.14% respectively. But in the cases of simple dental caries, E. gingivalis was found only in 25.75%, significantly lower than the infection rate in other conditions ( P<0.05) .No correlation was found between the infection rate and the age or sex.Morphological observation of the E. gingivalis from patients revealed distinct features, frequent movement, strong vitality and bigger individual size, which probably resulted from the nutritious condition of the breeding site.Although the pathogenicity of E.gingivalis has not been established, the authors believe that the organism may be a conditional pathogenic protozoa related to parodontosis. For metronidazole was found very effective for treating the infection as well as the associated parodontosis.
