Progress in treatment of children's attention deficit hyperactivity disorder by traditional Chinese medicine

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a common neurodevelopmental disorder in childhood that often has adverse effects on children's life,learning,other social functions and family life.Traditional Chinese medicine is based on the overall concept and individualized syndrome differentiation and treatment.It is often based on the basic principles of tonifying deficiency and purging excess,regulating viscera and balancing yin and yang.It has the advantages of stable curative effect and fewer side effects.This article reviews the dialectical treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children with traditional Chinese medicine in recent years,to provide reference's for clinical diagnosis and treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
