Effect of Yangsheng Yishen decoction on serum cytokine level and renal function in patients with diabetic nephropathy

Objective:To analyze the effects of Yangsheng Yishen decoction on serum cytokines and renal function in patients with diabetic nephropathy.Methods:A total of 98 patients with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 49 cases in each group by random number table method.The control group received oral irbesartan,and the observation group received irbesartan combined with health-nourishing kidney decoction.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared after 3 months of treatment,and the levels of blood glucose metabolism,blood lipid metabolism,renal function and serum cytokine in the two groups were counted before treatment and after 3 months of treatment.Results:After 3 months of treatment,the total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment,the levels of serum fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 h blood glucose(2 h PBG)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)in the observation group decreased after 3 months of treatment,and which were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with those before treatment,the levels of serum low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),serum creatinine(Scr),transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β),platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER)decreased after 3 months of treatment in both groups,and the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment,the levels of serum high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and the glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)in observation group increased after 3 months of treatment,and which was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yangsheng Yishen decoction could effectively improve the synthesis and secretion of blood glucose metabolism,blood lipid metabolism,renal function and disease-related cytokines,and had a better clinical effect.
