| Abstract: | An advantage of unilateral removable partial dentures (RPDs) is the lack of a major connector, but easy dislodgement of this design may cause several complications. Implant support of a unilateral RPD can provide additional stability and retention and may prevent such complications as aspiration or swallowing. |
