The Effects of Hospital Noise and Countermeasures

Noise,as one of the environmental pollution,has effects on people’s physiology and psychology.Like what the pressure and overloading work have done to people,noise can also do harm to the health.Researches show that hospital noise beyond the normal level will lead to deterioration of illness.However,little attention has been paid to the effects of noise on nurses.The purpose of this article is to discuss the sources of hospital noise and its effects on patients and nurses,as well as the measures that can reduce the noise effectively.As the nurses spend most of their time in the hospital,they have to endure the excess influences of the noise.Therefore,it is advocated that nurses should create a healthy environment that is not only favorable for the patients,but also for themselves.
