Effect of artificial femoral head replacement and total hip replacement on elderly femoral neck fracture

Objective： To compare the effect of artificial femoral head replacement and total hip replacement on femoral neck fracture.Methods： A total of 80 patients in our hospital with femoral neck fracture were randomly divided into two groups.Forty three patients in the observation group were treated with total hip replacement surgery,and 37 patients in control group were treated by artificial femoral head replacement.The duration time of surger,blood loss,postoperative drainage,incidence of complications and clinical efficacy were observed and compared.Results： The good rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group（P〈0.05）.The operation time was significantly shorter,the volume of intraoperative blood transfusion and postoperative drainage were significantly decreased,and the incidence of postoperative complication was significantly lower in observation group（all P〈0.05）.One year late,after Harris score and excellent rate in observation group were significantly higher（P〈0.05）.Conclusions： Total hip replacement is more effective in short term.
