大鼠垂体远侧部ACTH细胞与GH细胞形态学关系的免疫细胞化学研究

用光镜和电镜免疫细胞化学方法，研究了大鼠垂体远侧部ＡＣＴＨ细胞与ＧＨ细胞的形态学关系，以及在实验性胃溃疡状态下的变化。正常情况下，ＡＣＴＨ细胞与ＧＨ细胞彼此相邻，紧密接触，ＡＣＴＨ细胞的胞质突起可伸到ＧＨ细胞之间或包绕ＧＨ细胞，电镜下，有的ＡＣＴＨ细胞与ＧＨ细胞之间有可见有基板相隔，但更常见两者直接贴邻，没有基板分隔，并可见有些细胞之间有细胞连接。在实验性胃溃疡状态下，与ＧＨ细胞相邻的ＡＣＴＨ细胞

IMMUNOCYTOCHEMICAL STUDIES ON THE MORPHOLOGICAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ACTH CELLS AND GH CELLS IN THE PARS DISTALIS OF RAT PITUITARY

The morphological contacts between ACTH cells and GH cells in the pars distalis of rat pituitary and their changes under experimental condition were studied by immunocytochemical staining at light and electron microscopic levels in this paper,2l male Wistar rats were used and divided into experimental gastric ulcer group and normal control group,and all the animals were killed on the 6th day of ulceration, Multiple immunohistochemical staining method was used to demonstrate various types of endocrine cells for light microscopic study and postembedding indirect immuno-gold labeling technique was employed to show ACTH cells and GH cells,and the ACTH cells were labeled with 15nm protein A-gold and the GH cells with 10nm protein A-gold for electron microscopic observation. The serum GH level was measured by RIA. Under LM,close contacts between the ACTH cells and the GH cells were often observed.Under EM,the cytoplasmic processes of the ACTH cells stretched out among the GH cells or huged them. Basal lamina could be seen between the ACTH cells and the GH cells. However,for most cells, there was no basal lamina between them,and the ACTH cells often apposed closely to the GH cells, Cell junctions could be found between them occasionally. The ratio of the number of the ACTH cells contacting with the GH cells to the total number of the ACTH cells decreased and the serum GH level increased in the experimental gastric ulcer group as compared with the normal control group.The close contacts between the ACTH cells and the GH cells and their changes under experimental condition suggest that there might be functional association between the ACTH cells and the GH cells.
