Acute spontaneous subdural hematoma of arterial origin |

| Abstract: | A patient is described who had a history of sudden vomiting and rapidly becoming deeply unconscious. There was no history of head trauma. The cause turned out to be an acute spontaneous subdural hematoma from arterial rupture. Comparable cases in the literature are reviewed and the etiological possibilities are discussed. |
