老年缺血性脑卒中患者eNOS基因VNTR多态性研究

目的探讨老年缺帆性脑卒中与内皮细胞一氧化氮合酶（eNOS）基因VNTR多态性的关系。方法选择老年缺血性脑卒中患者112例作为脑卒中组，同期选择年龄与性别相匹配的健康志愿者或其他住院患者105例作为对照，通过PCR技术和聚丙烯酰胺电泳来确定其基因型。结果卒中组eNOS基因ab基因型的频率明显高于对照组（22．3％vs12．4％，P〈0．05），a等位基因的频率也高于对照组（12.9％vs7．0％，P〈0．05）。结论ab基因型与老年缺血性脑卒中有相关性，a等位基因可能是中国老年缺血性脑卒中的独立危险因素.

VNTR polymorphism of eNOS gene in elderly patients with ischemic stroke

Objective To investigate the association between ischemic stroke and 27-bp variable-number-of-tandemrepeat （VNTR） polymorphism of endothelial nitric oxide synthase （eNOS） gene in elderly patients. Methods 112 cases of ischernic stroke and 105 age- and sex-matched controls were recruited. The polymorphism was determined by PCR and nondenaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Results The ab genotype frequencies of eNOS gene were significantly higher in senile ischemic stroke group than those in control group （22.3% vs 12.4%, P〈0.05） and allele frequencies in stroke group were also higher than those in control group （12.9% vs 7.0%, P〈0.05）. Conclusion Chinese senile ischemic stroke is related to VNTR polymorphisrn in intron 4 of eNOS gene. eNOS A allele may be an independent risk factor for senile ischemic stroke.
