Abstract:Objective To observe the neural electrical pathological changes on amyotrophic la teral sclerosis(ALS)and to evaluate their clinical significance primarily. Methods Routin acu-electromyogram(EMG),nerve conduction velocity, repeated frequency stimulation test were carried on 36ALS patients and th e results were analysed. Results The EMG of ALS manifestated extensiv e injuries derived nerves, such as prolonged duration, high amplitu de,fribrillation potential, and huge potential etc.Small portion of patients had slow sensory or motor nerv e conduction velocity.Part patients had abnormal results of repeated fre quency stimulation test. Conclusion Neural electrical pathological ex-aminations are important assisted measures to ALS and are benefit to understand the pathological mechanism o f ALS.
Keywords:amyotrophic lateral sclerosis  electromyogram  nerve conduction velocity
