| Abstract: | The surgeon assuming the task of reconstruction of burned face must be skilled in plastic surgery. Primary surgical treatment and reconstruction are inseparable, therefore it is desirable that the treatment is performed since the day of the injury to the completion of the reconstruction by the same surgeon. In the surgical management of the facial burns relative conservatism is advisable. The excision is to be performed after the recovery of the second-degree burned areas. The above-mentioned principles are documented by the author on the basis of a few cases. |
