Abstract: | It is shown that dexamethasone increases the number of HDL binding sites in cultured hepatocytes bothin vivo andin vitro. The glucocorticoid acts in a dose-dependent and reversible manner within a wide range of concentrations, including physiological and subphysiological doses.
