| Abstract: | Summary The fine structure of the small blood vessels in chromophobe adenoma was compared to normal pituitary. The most striking difference was the relative paucity of endothelial fenestrae in the tumor accompanied by a widened perivascular space. The origin of these changes and their possible functional significance are discussed. |
