摘    要:0只大白鼠和两只猫体上用辣根过氧化物酶追踪了支配大白鼠下颌切牙和猫下颌犬牙的神经胞体的局部位置,但只在文4大白鼠和一只猫体上获得了满意的阳性结果。 被HRP标记的神经节细胞均位于同侧的三叉神经节内,集中于节的后外侧部分内。细胞呈梭形或圆形,以中、小型的为主,数量不超过该部细胞总数的1/250 支配牙的神经纤维数显然比被标记的细胞数为多,说明用这种方法看来只能做定性,不能做定量。 通过本实验进一步确定了支配下颌切牙或犬牙的三叉神经节细胞的局部位置和形态特征,初步证明了HRP的摄入与神经纤维的粗细和细胞的大小无显著关系。大、中、小型细胞可能都参与传导牙的感觉信息到脑干。


THE LOCALIZATION OF THE CELL BODIES OF THE RECEPTIVE NEURONS INNERVATED THE INCISOR TOOTH OF THE LOWER JAW IN THE RAT AND THE CANINE TOOTH OF THE LOWER JAW IN THE CAT AS VISUALIZED BY THE HORSERADISH PEROXIDASE TECHNIQUE
Abstract:Using a retrograde tracer technique with horseradish peroxidase(HRP) > attempts were made to determine the localization of the cell bodies of the neurons which innervated the incisor tooth or the canine tooth of the lower jaw.The experiments were carried out on 20 adult rats and two adult cats, but only the positive result obtained from the four rats and one cat were reported.The HRP-labeled neurons were localized in the isolateral trigeminal ganglion and concentrated in the post-lateral portion. Their shapes are spindle or round,chiefly middle and small types.The full number of the labeled neurons are only one to twenty of the total number of the fibres which supply the teeth,it indicate that this method may used for the qualitative analysis rather than the quantitative analysis of the neurons.The localization and character of the neurons of the trigeminal ganglion which supply the incisor tooth of the rat or the canine tooth of the cat were further determined by this experiment,and it also confirmed that the horseradish peroxidase which was take up by the nerve ends do not markedly related to the diameter of the fibres and the size of the neurons.The neurons of different size and types may wholly contributed to convey the signal from the teeth to the brain stem.
