INSULIN SENSITIVITY AND CARBOHYDRATE METABOLISM OF OBESE RATS

The rats were apparently less sensitive to a fixed insulin dose, but responded like normal rats to a fixed dose of glucose. Insulin injected in proportion to body weight caused responses similar to those of normal rats.
