| Abstract: | 77 patients of craniopharyngioma treated by varied operative methods throughdifferent approaches were reported.At present,with clinical use of CT,MRI,hormoneand microcurgery,total tumor removal can be done.For those incomplete removal cases,postoperative radiotherapy can be used in order to delay the recurrence.While placingyaer resommavoir for internal radiotharapy would only bring about temporary relief.Hormonal derangement in craniopharyngioma with high prolactin,the technique of totalremoval and setection of operative approach were discussed. |
