甲地孕酮对中晚期癌症患者生活质量的影响

目的观察甲地孕酮对中晚期癌症患者生活质量的影响及不良反应。方法70例住院中晚期癌症患者随机分为两组,治疗组用甲地孕酮加化疗,对照组用单纯化疗。两组中同一种病命名的化疗方案相同,治疗组在化疗基础上服甲地孕酮(160mg·d-1)共4～8周,观察两组食欲、体重和Karnofsky评分结果。结果治疗组和对照组食欲增加者分别为80.6%和23.5%,体重增加者分别为66.7%和14.7%,Karnofsky评分增加者分别为47.2%和17.6%,两组比较有显著差异(P<0.01)。结论甲地孕酮能刺激食欲,增加体重,提高中晚期癌症患者的生活质量。

Effect of megestrol acetate on the quality of life in patients with mid- and advanced stage carcinoma

Objective To observe the effect of megestrol acetate on the quality of life and adverse reactions in patients with mid-phase and advanced stage carcinoma.Methods Seventy patients with mid-and advanced stage carcinoma were randomly divided into two groups.The megestrol acetate(160 mg·d -1 ,orally)plus chemotherapy for 4～8 weeks was used in 36 patients of treatment group, the single chemotherapy was given in 24 patients of control group.(Megestro Acetate plus chemotherapy) and control group (simplex chemotherapy).The patients's appetite,weight and Karnofsky score before and after treatment in two groups were observed.Results The appetite, weight and Karnofsky score increased in 80.6%, 66.7% and 47.2% patients respectively in treatment group(P<0.01).Conclusion The megestrol acetate can stimulate the appetite,increase the weight and improve the quality of life in patients with mid-phase and advanced carcinoma.
