Abstract: | By acid phosphatase (ACP), 5-nucleotidase (5'N)activities and PAS reaction patterns, the classifica-tion of 31 acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) cases(including 5 adult cases) were studied cytochemical-ly. The results indicated that 16% 0f the cases wereT-ALL, while 84% were nonTnonB-ALL. The resultsof monoclonal antibody method and E-rosette me-thod were in good accordance with the cytochemicalclassification. The various forms of ACP activity patterns,PAS reaction, the relationship between the resultsof monoclonal antibody, E-rosette and cytochemicalmethod and the practical value of ACP activity patterns in the identification of E-rosette negative ALLare discussed. |
