概念隐喻的认知阐释及概念隐喻能力

摘    要:概念隐喻体现的是语言的概念(经验)功能。一方面,通过在词汇语法层面产生名词化,话语者可以对所构建的经验意义(事件、关系、范畴等)进行抽象、归纳、浓缩;另一方面,通过将所构建的经验意义(过程)进行转换,体现为及物性隐喻,可以产生形象、生动、新颖等修辞效果,同时还能有助于语篇的布局。概念隐喻能力对语言学习者准确并充分地理解语篇和有效地表达观点至关重要。

Abstract:Conceptual metaphors are assumed to perform the conceptual functions of language. By nominalization at the lexico-grammatical level, conceptual meanings including events, relations, categories, etc. can be highly abstracted and condensed; on the other hand, the transitivity metaphor characterized with vigor and novelty may serve to construct conceptual meanings through transference. For language learners, a command of conceptual metaphorical competence will play an important role in their adequate interpretation of the metaphorical senses in their reading and effective use of conceptual metaphors to reinforce their writing.
