| Abstract: | Double contrast examination is a very useful procedure in the diagnosis of nolonic diseases. It is important that the examination is of good quality. Bowel preparation, selection ofa suitable bariam sulfatee mixture,technique of examination and the method of radiograph used in our hospital were desoribed, A bowal preparation program suggested by the authors was used in 300 patients, of which 278 had a clean colon (92%). The value of a comparative study between doable-contrast and colonoscopc axamination of the colon and the importance of bowel preparation were also descussed |
