Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of ultrasound-mediated drug delivery combined with oral anti-tuberculous (TB) drugs. Methods Totally 168 cases of initial tuberculosis treatment of cervical lymph nodes were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Both groups had standardized quadruple anti-TB drugs. The observation group also received ultrasound-mediated drug delivery including rifampicin solution for 2 months. Results The cure rate and total effective rate of the observation group was 85.7% (72/84) and 92.9% (78/84).The cure rate and total effective rate of the control group was 22.6% (19/84) and 29.8% (25/84) ; there was a statistically significant difference between the cure rates and the total effective rates in the two groups. Conclusion The efficacy of ultrasound-mediated drug delivery combined with oral anti-TB drugs is superior to solo anti-TB medication treatment.
