Abstract: | An unusual case of overlap syndrome which evolved over a 12-yearperiod is described. The patient initially presented with limitedcutaneous systemic sclerosis. She then developed seropositiveerosive rheumatoid arthritis and subsequently vasculitis withpositive lupus serology. There was no evidence that she hadmixed or undifferentiated connective tissue disease, and antibodyto ribonuclearprotein was negative. This unusual combinationof connective tissue disorders in one patient is reported andthe literature is reviewed.
