542例正常生育力男子的精液分析

精液检查是评价男子生育力的主要方法。我们通过对542例正常生育力男子的精液作较完整的检查和分析,订出评价我国正常男子生育力的精液指标。这些指标对目前男子避孕药研究的避孕指标衡量或对不育症的诊治具有现实意义。

SEMEN STUDY IN 542 NORMAL FERTILE CHINESE MEN

Semen examination is a key method to evaluate the fertility of man. According to a series of semen analysis in 542 normal fertile Chinese men we have established the data of the normal semen in our own country. These data are not only useful in the study of male contraceptive drugs but also worthy for diagnosis and treatment of male infertility. The semen specimen were collected from Shanghai (94 Cases), Danyang and Jiangdu, Jiangsu Province (164 cases); Qufu, Shandong Province (91 cases); Da lian, Liaoning Province (48 cases); Shangqiu, Henan Province. (46 cases); Chongqing, Sichuan Province (99 cases). The methods of semen collection were by masturbation 497 cases, coitus interruptus (withdraw) 45 cases.The items of semen examination and their results are as follows:1. Volume (542 Cases), range: 0.3～8ml, mean: 2.4±1.3ml.2. Liquefaction (468 cases), range: 5～30min, mean: 10±5min.3. Viscosity (399 cases), A capillary tube 93 mm in length, and φ 0.672mm in diameter made by our own is used to measure the flowing time of 0.5ml of semen passing the capillary tube. The mean passing time: 49.8±4.8 see.4. ph (514 cases), range: 6.7～8.4, mean: 7.4±0.3.5. Sperm count and concentration (542 cases), range: 2.4～352×10~6/ml, mean: 61×10~6/ml.6. Total number of sperm per ejaculation (542 cases), range: 5.1～984.5×10~6/ml, mean: 129×10~6/ml.7. Sperm motility after 1 hr of ejaculation (542 cases), range: 10～95, mean: 67±15.%.8. Sperm forward progression, 1 hr after ejaculation (385 cases), range: 3～10 grade, mean: 7.6±1.4 grade. After 6 hrs of ejaculation (148 cases), rang: 1～9 grade, mean: 5.1±1.7 grade.9. Sperm morphology: the percentage of normal sperm forms: range 63～98% mean: 88±6%; the percentage of abnormal sperm forms, sperm head abnormality, mean: 4.5±3.2%, the midpiece abnormality, mean 3.5±0.7%; the mixed abnormality, mean: 2.3±1.1%.10. The testicle volume was calculated, range: 12～27ml, mean: 19.8±3.3ml.11. To evaluate the motility of the sperm, we used single or multiple exposure photograph in 76 cases, sperm capillary tube penetrating test in 110 cases, and sperm velocity test in 159 cases, 76 cases at 28～34℃ having mean sperm motility was 70.1±10.1% (range 42.1～90.6%); mean sperm velocity, 34.34±6.52μ/sec.(range 23～47.8μ/sec). 20 cases at 8～13℃ having mean sperm motility 67.9,±12.8%; mean sperm velocity; 26.43±4.63μ/sec.The authors discussed several factors that are probably concerned with the semen qualily. These factors are the collection of ejaculate, room temperature, different age groups, gesticular volume and varicocele.
