| Abstract: | A case is presented of hemopericardium and sudden death due to rupture of a solitary myocardial abscess in an elderly woman with cirrhosis and mild urosepsis. If suspected clinically, such myocardial abscesses may be detectable by noninvasive tomographic cardiac imaging. |
