CDC pulls plug on funds for union's education project. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

The AFL-CIO's 10-year HIV education program, HIV/AIDS Workplace Education Project, was shut down when government funding expired. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) decision to cut funding was unexpected, and the union did not have the financial resources to continue the program. Some other unions still maintain their own HIV education programs.
