Abstract: | Thrombus in the Non-aneurysmal, Non-atherosclerotic Descending Thoracic Aorta (NAADTA) represents a rare source of peripheral arterial embolism. Despite being mostly asymptomatic process, its consequences can be very serious. In this case report, we described the case of a patient with malignant thrombus occurring in otherwise “healthy” descending thoracic aorta, already complicated by embolization into superior mesenteric artery, subsequently solved by stent graft implantation into the thoracic aorta. |
