Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of individualized nutrition management on the nutritional status and quali-ty of life in cancer patients treated with chemotherapy. Method 128 cases of patients with malignant neoplasms treated with chemotherapy were enrolled in the study, and were randomized as study group (n=64) and control group (n=64) ac-cording to a random number table. The patients in control group were guided with routine chemotherapy diet, and the pa-tients in study group were additionally administered with individualized nutritional management. The intervention of nu-tritional status and quality of life of the two groups before and after the intervention were compared, besides, the adverse reactions were recorded. Result The levels of albumin, transferrin and hemoglobin in study group were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). The scores of psychological latitude, physiological latitude, social adaptability and quali-ty of life of study group were higher compared to control group (P<0.01). The incidence of hematological, and gastroin-testinal adverse reactions, myelosuppression and liver injury of study group were lower than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Individualized nutritional management can effectively improve the nutritional status, reduce the inci-dence of adverse reactions during chemotherapy and improve the quality of life of patients.
