| Abstract: | The new method of single-photo isotropic photorefractior. can be used quantitatively and qualitatively to detect the incordinate babies and infants who suffered from ametropia. The results are analysed by the computer ray tracing method. As compared with the results obtained by optometrist from 32 cases of ametropia, both results are of great correlation ( r= 0.993), This method can. be used to diagnose the existence of strabismus and amblyopia and also ophthalmopathy such as ptosis, anisocoria and the congenital cataract. It is a precise, rapid, time-saving and easily operating method. |
