| Abstract: | Twenty-eight children with severed upper limbs treated by replantation were collected from 1967 to 1992. The following-up results showed: 25 limbs survived with good function. 2 failed due to deterioration of general condition, and 1 reamputation for unrecovery of nerve function 8 months after a successful replantation.The speciality of replantation in children, the management of complications and the evaluation of nerve recovery were discussed. |
