Combined thrombolysis with low-dose streptokinase and angioplasty in the treatment of renal artery occlusion |

| Abstract: | A case of acute renal artery thrombosis superimposed on a stenotic atheromatous lesion treated with low-dose streptokinase thrombolysis and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty is presented. Renal function was promptly improved. This combined approach is recommended in selected elderly and seriously ill patients. |
