Bacterial vaginitis is a common gynecological disease in clinic,which poses a serious threat to women’s health.The frequently occurring populations are women of childbearing age,which has a high incidence and recurrence rate among vaginal infectious diseases.It can lead to many gynecological diseases,including gynecological tumors,ectopic pregnancy,postoperative infections,urinary tract infections,salpingitis,pelvic inflammatory disease,infertility,etc.,the treatment must be timely and effective,otherwise it will be transformed into carriers or chronic infections,causing the disease to persist,affecting the quality of life of patients.At present,the treatment of bacterial vaginitis is mainly based on the protection of Lactobacillus and the inhibition of anaerobic bacteria,but the curative effect of antibiotics is not good.This paper starts from the pathogenesis of bacterial vaginitis and reviews the progress of clinical research on the treatment of bacterial vaginitis.It mainly includes western medicine treatment(nitroimidazole drugs,Lactobacillus live bacterial preparations,etc.),Chinese medicine treatment(Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation treatment),integrated Chinese and western medicine treatment,which provides the reference basis for the treatment of bacterial vaginitis.
