摘    要:硒蛋白具有抗氧化作用,与炎性疾病密切相关.硒蛋白S(SelS)即Tanis/VIMP,是新型葡萄糖调节蛋白,作为血清淀粉样蛋白A的受体将2型糖尿病和炎性反应联系起来,其基因多态性与炎性疾病相关.SelS可以保护细胞免受各种应激原诱导的损伤,调节细胞氧化还原平衡,参与错误折叠蛋白的处理和降解.SelS可能成为炎性疾病防治的突破口.

Abstract:Selenoproteins,the essential biomolecules associated with antioxidant effects, are involved in diverse inflammatory diseases. Selenoprotein S (SelS), also kown as Tanis or VIMP, is a novel glucose-regulated protein. As a putative receptor for serum amyloid protein A, the acute phase protein, SelS is a link between type 2 diabetes and inflammation. Also, its gene polymorphisms are associated with inflammatory diseases. Furthermore, it could protect cells from stress injury induced by stressers, regulate the redox balance of cells,and play an important role in the processing and removal of misfolded proteins. Thus, SelS may be the breakthrough of the prophylaxis and treatment of the inflammatory diseases.
