| Abstract: | We describe a patient with Grave's discase who developed purpura fulminans and who was found to have anticardiolipin antibodies after being started on propylthiouracil (PTU). We discuss the potential role of the antiphospholipid antibody in this woman's presentation, and its association to both PTU and autoimmune thyroid disease. |
