癫(癎)合并睡眠呼吸暂停综合征的研究

目的:探讨癫癎与睡眠呼吸暂停综合征(SAS)的相互关系,观察SAS的治疗对癫癎发作的影响。方法:从39例癫癎患者中筛选出可能合并SAS的病例进行多道睡眠图(PSG)监测,对确诊为SAS的中-重度患者行经鼻持续气道正压通气治疗(nCPAP)。结果:39例癫癎患者中有18例(46％)合并有SAS,且合并SAS的患者癫癎发作频率较高,平均为0．82次／月,与单纯癫癎患者的平均0．28次／月相比,明显升高(P<0．01)。经nCPAP治疗,癫癎发作频率减少至平均0．35次／月,与治疗前相比差异有显著意义(P<0．01)。结论:成人癫癎患者合并SAS发生率较高,SAS可加重癫癎的发作,治疗并存的SAS可提高对癫癎发作的控制力度,改善癫癎患者的生活质量。

Study of epilepsy complicated by sleep apnea syndrome

Objective:To study the relationship between epilepsy and sleep apnea syndrome (SAS), and to research the effect of SAS therapy on epileptic seizure. Methods: Thirty-nine patients with epilepsy possibly complicated by SAS were chosen and their polysomnograms(PSGs) were recorded, who were diagnosed as moderate-serious SAS patients received the therapy of nCPAP. Results:Of 39 patients with epilepsy,18 cases(46%) were diagnosed as SAS patients. The frequency of epileptic seizures was aver-agely 0. 82 per month, in the patients accompany with SAS which is higher than that in the pure epilepsy patienls(0. 28 per month, P<0. 01). The frequency of epileptic seizures decreased to 0. 35 per month after therapy of nCPAP, and there was statistical difference as compared with that before treatment (P< 0. 01). Conclusion: The rate of epilepsy complicated by SAS in adult is high, and SAS can increase the frequency of epileptic seizures Therefore the treatment of SAS is benefitial to the control of epileptic seizures, and the improvement of life quality of epileptic patients.
