中西医结合治疗继发性顽固性癫痫持续状态

目的：探讨顽固性癫痫持续状态的治疗方法，以减少患者痛苦和病死率。方法：对１５例继发性顽固性癫痫持续状态的患者进行中西医结合治疗（治疗组），与１３例单纯西医治疗（对照组）的疗效作对比分析。结果：治疗组患者当天停止抽搐７例，第２天停止抽搐６例，第３天停止抽搐１例，死亡１例；对照组则分别为１例，３例，２例和７例。治疗组疗效明显好于对照组。结论：中西医结合治疗顽固性癫痫持续状态，较一般使用中药或西药治疗有明显的缩短抽搐时间及昏迷时间的效果。对减少病死率、提高抢救成活率有明显的实用价值

Treatment of secondary refractory status epilepticus with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine

Objective:To explore the therapeutics of refractory status epilepticus to relieve the patients from distresses and reduce the mortality.Methods:28 cases of refractory status epilepticus were randomized to treat with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine (therapeutic group,n=15) or western medicine only (control group,n=13).Results:In the therapeutic group,the patients in whom the status epilepticus was terminated at day one,two and three were seen in seven,six and one cases respectively;only one of the 15 cases died.In contrast,there were one,three,and two cases respectively and seven of the 13 cases died in the control group.The efficiency of the therapeutic group is significantly superior to that of the control group.Conclusions:The durations of convulsion and coma were significantly shorter in the therapeutic group than in the control group.There are significant practical values in reducing the mortality and increasing survival rate,when refractory status epilepticus is treated by traditional Chinese and western medicine.
