Abstract: | Long bones with a prominent endosteal trabecular pattern, particularly the herringbone configuration, when immobilized, will demineralize in a striking spotty pattern which may simulate neoplastic permeative replacement of bone. The recognition of this phenomenon will obviate needless concern and investigation. |
