| Abstract: | Shenshixiao capsule(SX) is a TCM preparation with Quercus dentata Thunb. as its main ingredient. The polysaccharide content of which was said to possess lithagogue action. A phenol-sulfuric acid method for the determination of the polysaccharide content in SX was developed and proved to be easy,sensitive and reliable. The average recovery was 95. 5 % with RSD=1. 5%. |
