刍论医学与人文

本文探讨医学与人文为何必须结合和如何结合。从自然科学中惟有医学是研究人、人服务于人．现代医学模式，解决医学现实和发展中的问题等6个方面论证两者必须结合。对于医学与人文如何结合．提出“医德为魂．医术为本”。要求医务人员应德才兼备，核心是提高全面素质。主要体现医术为本的业务素质，应成为“能医”；主要体现医德为魂的人文素质，应成为“良医”。要争取成为临床医学家，医德医术兼备、科技人文结合，治学修身相融，体现大医精诚。

On medicine and humanities

This article discusses why and how to combine medicine and humanities. To answer ＂why＂, six aspects were examined, including the feature of medicine （as the only natural science that studies and serves human）, the model of modern medicine, and the solution to the problems in current and future medicine. To answer ＂how＂, a principle of＂medical ethics as soul, expertise as basis＂ was proposed. To be a medical professional with virtue and intelligence, the key is to improve the overall quality. Professional quality based on expertise makes a ＂competent doctor＂; and humanistic quality based on ethics makes a ＂virtuous doctor＂. Medical professionals should aspire to become a clinical scientist with both ethics and expertise, be well versed in medical sciences and humanities, keep a good balance between doing research and improving humanistic quality, so as to embody the great spirit of medicine.
