Abstract: | Objective To research the effect of metformin intervention on blood sugar of patients with breast cancer chemotherapy with abnormal glucose metabolism. Methods 60 cases of patients with breast cancer chemotherapy with ab-normal glucose metabolism in our hospital from February 2012 to August 2014 were selected as the research object and randomly divided into two groups, the control group received AC-T chemotherapy plan, and were treated with diet control and exercise, the observation group were given additional metformin on the basis of the control group, the blood sugar con-trol conditions of the two groups were observed. Results The case number of patients with normal blood sugar at the end of chemotherapy and in 3 months after chemotherapy in the observation group was obviously more than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the case number of patients with abnormal glucose metabolism at the end of chemotherapy and in 3 months after chemotherapy in the observation group was obviously lower than that in the control group , the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the cases number of patients with dia-betic at the end of chemotherapy and in 3 months after chemotherapy in the observation group was lower than that in the control group but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Metformin for controlling the blood sugar levels of patients with breast cancer chemotherapy with abnormal glucose metabolism has an obvious effect and has a potential anti-tumor effect, which is further research. |
