Analysis on Influence Factors on the First-choice Medical Behavior of Rural Residents in Lushan County

Objective：To investigate the first-choice medical behavior of rural residents in Lushan county and to analyze its influence factors,so as to know their health service needs and to explore how the grass-root health units to develop.Methods： Through random sampling,1093 rural residents were selected and surveyed by using questionnaires of medical behavior of rural residents.The relationships between the first-choice medical institution and totally 16 factors including the general information,health status,medical insurance,medical resources and medical expenses and so on were analyzed by unvaried analysis and logistic regression.Results： 59.01% of the rural residents chose individual clinics or drugstores firstly.The ratio was relatively low in those who were more knowledgeable,those who had higher annual income,and those who spent much for medical care last year（p0.001）.It had differences in those who had different careers and those who bought rural medical insurance or not（p0.05）.However,these factors including health conditions,history of chronic diseases,age and sex and so on,had slight influence on it（p0.05）.Conclusion： The main factors influencing the rural residents chose individual clinics or drugstores firstly were degrees of being educated,annual income and medical expenses last year.
