Abstract: | A patient with traumatic bifrontal hemorrhagic lesions developed hyperthermia associated with autonomic dysfunction shortly after admission. This case illustrates that posttraumatic hyperthermia may also occur at a markedly less disturbed baseline neurological level, possibly secondary to disruption of fronto-diencephalic pathways. |
