Abstract: | (1) Plasma prolactin and testosterone concentrations were measured during the luteal phase in 15 women suffering from premenstrual tension syndrome (PMS). The concentrations of these hormones were compared to those measured in 17 women without PMS. (2) There were no differences between mean prolactin or testosterone levels in the patient group compared to those of the controls. (3) Plasma testosterone — estradiol binding globulin was significantly higher in the patient group. |
